Front desk employee
We have received the desired number of candidates for this position. The position for cook remains open.
You daily tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Management front desk operations such as guest registration (check-in/check-out)
- Handling of room inventory and availability
- Ensuring that guest service standards are respected
- Management of reservations
- Regular communication with other employees and management about guests and overall hotel work
- Handling of guests' bills and invoices
The candidate needs to have the following minimum requirements:
- Good knowledge of English language, with commitment by the candidate to follow extra English courses for improvement
- MS Office - Computer skills
- Good communication skills
- Customer - oriented
- Ability to work in a team
- Discretion
Extra points will be awarded for the following:
- Degree in Hospitality / Tourism
- Previous hospitality experience
- Excellent knowledge of English language
- Knowledge of a secondary European language
- Proactiveness (initiate and work on improvements of the work process by him/herself)
- Willingness to learn
Pay will be negotiated and will be in accordance with the skills candidates bring to the team and will increase as skills increase. Work hours are organized in first, second and third shift. Candidate will be insured in accordance with the employment laws of Macedonia.
Cook - kitchen employee
Your daily tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Preparation orders from a-la-carte menu
- Organization & planning of inventories
- Regular equipment maintenance
- Keeping kitchen hygiene at highest levels
- Preparation of larger batch orders for gala events and other celebrations
The candidate needs to have the following minimum requirements:
- Experience with cookware
- Knowledge of various cooking procedures
- Good physical condition and stamina
- Ability to work in a team
Extra points will be awarded for the following:
- Proven experience as a cook
- High school diploma from a culinary school or equivalent
- Proactiveness (initiate improvements in the workflow)
- Ability to create menu and a-la-carte menu
- Communication skills
- Good knowledge of English language
We are also willing to take inexperienced newcomers to the profession and devote time to fully develop an individual into a professional cook. Pay will be negotiated and will be in accordance with the skills candidates bring to the team and will increase as skills increase. Work hours are mostly organized in first and second shift, but some irregular work hours might appear in accordance with the needs. Candidate will be insured in accordance with the employment laws in Macedonia.
